Fracture Mechanics - A short note to remember!

A pretty long back, when I did my MSc, I became very fascinated with fracture mechanics and how big a role its plays in our daily activities. Oh Yes! All and everything eventually fails cause of minute cracks developed over long periods of time (or an impact). When it goes beyond its threshold limit the object fails. This object is almost anything from chairs to pressure cookers to cars to aeroplanes to ALL.

I have few notes written to keep up with my insights and basic fundamentals governing it. I know it's no good read for general users but love to have those rustic notes you have developed in your student days, which bring back fond memories of the good old college days.

Here are the notes;

Hope its readable.
